Martin has been deeply involved in health & fitness since he was a kid. Playing multiple high level sports in high school and college he learned that practice, discipline and hard work pay off. Martin grew up in Barrie Ontario where he also obtained his bachelors degree in business management from ... Georgian College. After graduating he moved to Calgary in pursuit of a career landing him in the automotive sector, here he would spend 11 years in sales and sales management becoming one of Canada’s top young talents in the industry. In October of 2017 he decided to follow his passion of health, fitness & people, a few months later he discovered what is now the world’s fastest growing fitness network in F45 Training. Martin believes that F45 Training is a perfect match between health, fitness, nutrition and community and is exactly what he was looking for. He can often be heard saying “it’s all about the members” and truly loves helping others both physically and mentally. Martin is extremely proud of the team & community at F45 Marda Loop and considers trainers and members his extended family. He and his wife Samantha welcomed their baby boy Arlo to the world in October 2018 and he is one proud papa! His favorite pass time when not in studio is to spend family time with their new addition watching him grow before their eyes. Sherry has been a certified personal trainer, dedicating her time to helping people live a healthier lifestyle for thirteen years. She played competitive sport growing up, which has highly influenced her passion in helping others realize their potential and achieve their goals. Sherry is happy to h... ave checked a few big fitness milestones off of her bucket list. These include a body building competition where she placed first in masters, first in open and placed first overall. Running a half marathon as well as the ride to conquer cancer in honor of her late sister Kristy. She is always looking to set new goals and achievements. Her most important goal in life is to be a positive role model and influence her 6 year old daughter to live a healthy active lifestyle and know the importance of nutrition and physical activity while having fun doing it! Her motto is to find what works best for YOU in order to achieve a healthy well-balanced lifestyle. She is very energetic and goal oriented with a talent for motivating people to be the absolute best version of them selves from the inside out. She is a Certified Can-Fit-Pro Personal Trainer, a Certified Can-Fit Pro Nutrition and Wellness Coach, and is certified in numerous functional training activities including Fitness kickboxing, TRX Suspension Training, Bosu Ball Training, Kettle Bell Training, etc. She always trains with a purpose and believes that functional training is the most effective, beneficial, fun and definitely delivers the best results for any level! Jess’ attitude and inner strength comes from her Mom who from a very young age always told her, “You can do anything you put your mind to”. Taking that as truth, Jess now works in healthcare and wellness aiming to inspire that same belief in others. Starting life as a drama geek, Jess did not... understand the value of physical activity or challenging her body and how those two things connect to self-confidence and achievement until later in life. If she had a time machine she would go back in time and encourage her young self to go on a quest to find a form of physical activity that is fun and challenging – as that is the key to sustainability for her. Following her dreams has never been a question as Jess’ career began in the theatre and film where she worked for more than ten years as an actor and producer, starting a theatre company and running a film festival. Next stop on her adventures was teaching yoga and gaining an Executive Personal and Professional Coaching certification from the Coaches Training Institute. Who knew her career would next take her to working in healthcare where she worked on the new Cancer Centre engaging patient and family advisors in planning and design? After gaining her Masters of the Arts in Leadership Development from Royal Roads, she now supports healthcare teams and leaders to enhance their effectiveness by sharing her knowledge of communication skills, coaching, emotional intelligence and conflict management. She is honoured to share her passion for wellness and growth by joining the awesome community at F45 where she knows she will learn so much from all of the members and other trainers. She also shares her passion with yoga students at PURE Hot yoga teaching classes that fuse cardio with strength and yoga. Her hunger for learning still drives her and she also holds a group fitness leader’s certification from the Alberta Fitness Leadership Certification Association and is working on becoming a Nutrition Coach through Precision Nutrition. Considering her diverse and awesome path so far - thank goodness her Mom was right! Kari Kari has been in the fitness industry for almost 9 years and she is a certified personal trainer. She has always had a true passion and love for fitness. As a teen Kari was very active in school playing competitive sports including basketball, volleyball and ran track and field. Sports and fit... ness really helped her build her self confidence and purpose in life. Kari loves inspiring, motivating and pushing clients past their individual self limiting beliefs. She takes pride and joy in helping others ignite their “inner bad ass “ She is extremely excited to push all of our members to become the best version’s of themselves. Alexia Bell is 23 years old and a huge promotor of health and fitness! It is not only her every day job as a personal trainer and spin instructor but also a passion of hers to help guide others through their fitness journeys. She attended Mount Royal University where she completed a two year advance... d diploma program specializing in Personal Fitness training and continuing her scope of practice certifying as a level 1 nutrition coach through Precision Nutrition. Currently she is in school working towards a degree in psychology in hopes of one day becoming a sports psychologist. She has always been involved with sports and dance since a young age. Alexia has competed for the past 16 years traveling the world for national and international competitions as an Irish dancer. 2 years ago she stepped more into the professional side of Irish dance and has been lucky to travel the world sharing her passion of dance as a professional dancer. Alexia looks forward to challenging not only herself, but every single individual who walks through our doors. Alexia’s favorite quote “ Have faith in your journey. Paige’s passion for health and fitness started by growing up in a very active family, playing sports with her two younger sisters. By the age of 22 she had undergone 4 knee surgeries and as a result had to adapt her physical activity as a competitive athlete and learned the importance of pacing yo... urself. With years of physical therapy and constant loss and gain of muscle mass she learned the importance and the impact physical fitness and nutrition have on the body. Paige attained her Kinesiology degree at the University of Victoria which only increased her interest around overall health. Her co-op jobs focused on rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, research with Special Olympics and job specific task analysis. Her first year at UVic she made the novice rowing team and competed in a new sport. She was introduced to Orangetheory and coached at the Marda Loop location for 7 months before becoming the Head Trainer for 4 months. She is very excited to work with the F45 Marda Loop team! Having a science based background she appreciates the drive for more lean muscle mass through combining functional movement patterns with proper nutrition. Nothing gives her more joy in life than to see people grow and become better versions of themselves both mentally and physically but more importantly realizing their own true potential. Since he was 4 years old, Robby has been a part of the Health and Fitness industry. He followed his dad to Bodybuilding competitions in the 80s - 90s and mingled with all of the town folks, working out in his dad's basement gym. Strength Training, Practicing Yoga and Coaching his peers, have been an instrumental part in establishing a Balanced and Healthy Lifestyle for him. Sabrina found her passion for health and fitness in 2012. She had never been very athletic (quite the opposite actually), but when one of her best friends decided to run a half marathon, it motivated her to make a change in her life. Since then she has run 5 half marathons and a handful of 10km race... s. More recently her focus has been in the gym, where she discovered the sport of bodybuilding. The discipline and dedication it requires enticed her to take things to the next level. She has competed twice in the figure category as a natural athlete. She plans to step on stage again, but for the time being her main goal has been to find a healthy balance in life, in and out of the gym.
